What is your insurance policy? How do you deal with damaged items?

We strongly recommend that you make use of door- to-door insurance cover to cover losses against unforeseen circumstances as accidents can happen that are totally beyond our control although GSL Bahrain does its best to ensure safe and careful arrival of your personal effects at the destination. To arrange the insurance cover, we will require a detailed valued inventory list at least 48 hours prior to us starting with the packing of your goods.

What is the best advice you would give to customers?

We advise our customers to firstly work out a relocation plan and then have a detailed survey on this. A proper discussion with moving company on your plan and timeline, and your expectations will improve the quality of service you receive.

As I was leaving Bahrain for good, after 25 years of my service in Bahrain, booked my household items through Good Shore Shipping and Logistics Company for sending them by Shipping Consignment to Cochin. Company staff came and packed all the items from my home. I left Bahrain on 8th of December 2023 and the shipment came on 25 December 2023. Cleared all the items from Cochin Port today 5th Jan 2024 and got delivered to
My address today itself. All the items are in good condition and the clearing agent AA Abdulaziz & Co gave all the support and assistance in clearing and delivering the goods to my place.
